Taking a look at Defragging your Hard Drive. Here's a video tutorial on tackling such a task. This is a great idea to Defrag your hard drive every 4-6 months depending on how much use your PC or Laptop gets.
Defragging in it's simplest state re-organizes the contents of your hard drives bits and bytes to speed things up. When running programs that contains hundreds of files, fragmenting can degrade the performance of your computer. Clusters of files on your hard drive become fragmented, they grow further apart and it takes longer for your computer to find and assemble all the pieces necessary to run the programs.
